When I subscribe, will I start in the middle of a story?
Never. We’ll make sure your journey begins right at the first letter in a story, so you can enjoy it from start to finish.

What if I don’t enjoy a story?
While each story is prayerfully written to encourage and uplift, we understand not every tale will speak to everyone. You can cancel your subscription at any time — even in the middle of a story — and you’ll still keep the letters you’ve already received.

Can I send these as a gift?
Absolutely! A Lighthouse Letters subscription makes a meaningful gift for friends and family. We’ll deliver each letter straight to their mailbox with the same care and beauty as if it were for you.

When will I receive the letters?
We send letters twice a month — on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday.
How it works:

Order more than 7 days before the next Mail-Out Day → Your first letter ships on that upcoming Mail-Out Day.

Order less than 7 days before the next Mail-Out Day → Your first letter ships on the second upcoming Mail-Out Day.
Example:

If the next Mail-Out Day is Wednesday, Dec 3 (1st Wednesday of the month) and you order on Sunday, Nov 24(more than 7 days before the next Mail-Out Day), your first letter will ship on Wednesday, Dec 3 (1st Wednesday of the month).

If the next Mail-Out Day is Wednesday, Dec 3 (1st Wednesday of the month) and you order on Monday, Dec 2(less than 7 days before the next Mail-Out Day), your first letter will ship on Wednesday, Dec 17 (3rd Wednesday of the month).
These short, consistent intervals between letters are designed to build anticipation and delight for the reader.

Can I change my child’s reading level during the subscription?
Absolutely! We know kids grow and their reading skills improve over time. You can switch between Beginner (grades 3-5), Intermediate (grades 6-8) and Advanced (9th grade +) levels at any point during your subscription to best match your child’s needs. Just let us know, and we’ll happily adjust your letters so they’re the perfect fit.
